This Privacy Policy explains how PROMAC (“we”, “us”) processes personal data collected when you visit our website. We comply with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its revised version (revFADP, in force since 1 September 2023). Where our website is accessible to persons in the EU/EEA, we additionally observe GDPR requirements.

Automatically Collected Data

When you visit our website, your browser automatically transmits the following data to our server:

Purposes & Legal Basis

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

Hosting & Server Logs

Our website is hosted by Vercel (Vercel, Inc., USA), which processes server log data on our behalf. Data transfers to the USA take place on the basis of standard contractual clauses (SCCs).

Server logs are generally deleted automatically after 7–30 days, unless a security incident requires longer retention.

Contact Form & Email

When you contact us via the contact form or by email, your details (name, email address, message content and any other voluntary information) are stored in order to process your enquiry and any follow-up questions.

We do not disclose this data without your consent. It is deleted once your enquiry has been fully resolved and no statutory retention obligations apply (generally 10 years under Swiss CO).

Form data is transmitted via Formspree (Formspree Inc., USA). Data transfers to the USA take place on the basis of standard contractual clauses (SCCs). For more information, see Formspree's Privacy Policy.

Analytics Services

This website does not use any analytics or tracking services. No usage profiles are created and no data is transmitted to third parties for analytical purposes.

Our website uses only technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the website (e.g. language preference). No analytics or marketing cookies are used.

You can disable or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Third Parties & Embeds

This website does not embed content from external services (e.g. Google Maps, YouTube, Google Fonts) that would trigger data transfers to third parties. All fonts are hosted locally.

We only share your data where this is necessary to perform a contract, where you have given consent, where we are legally obliged to do so, or where there is a legitimate interest. Data is not passed on to third parties for marketing purposes.

In connection with our services, we may share data with processors (e.g. IT service providers, accounting software). These are contractually bound to comply with data protection requirements.

Data transfers to countries without an adequate level of data protection (e.g. the USA) take place only on the basis of appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Despite careful security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmission over the internet.
